Aiming at expanding the potential through enhancing knowledge and building capacities at all levels of water resources management as well as raising awareness of citizens in the Arab countries, H. E. Prof. Mahmoud Abu-Zeid, President of AWC,Mysneakers | New Releases Nike chaired the session on expanding the use of Non-Conventional Water Resources and moderated by Dr. Safwat Abdel Dayem, AWC.
The Session was divided into two main Parts;
Part 1 included Presentations on the Regional Projects and Programs by Mr. Mohamed Al-Hamdi from FAO, Dr. Gihan Bayoumi from IWMI & Dr. Ajit Govind from ICARDA.
Part 2 of the session included Presentations on National Case Studies by Eng. Walid Hakiki from MWRI & Prof. Khaled M. AbuZeid from CEDARE who presented some case studies from Egypt, as well as Prof. Walid Abderrahman, Vice president Of AWC & Eng. Metab Al-Qahtani who showed case studies from Saudi Arabia.
