The Board of Governors is the supreme body of the Council between meetings of the General Assembly. It sets the detailed policies and makes organizational and executive decisions to facilitate the work of the Council. The Board represents the General Assembly in supervising the work of the Council of the other bodies.
The Board of Governors members elected during the General Assembly meeting according to the membership and to carry out the responsibilities specified in the constitution. Its term is three years ending with the election of the new Board of Governors during the successive ordinary General Assembly meeting.
