The Arab Water Council, under the auspices of the League of Arab States, organized the celebration of the Arab Water Day and the World Water Day under the slogan (Rationalization and Clean Water Towards Achieving Sustainability - The Year of Groundwater 2022) in cooperation with the Home Pure Nova Company for water treatment, on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Cairo - Egypt.

 

The Arab Water Council, under the auspices of the League of Arab States, organized the celebration of the Arab Water Day and the World Water Day under the slogan (Rationalization and Clean Water Towards Achieving Sustainability - The Year of Groundwater 2022) in cooperation with the Home Pure Nova Company for water treatment, on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Cairo - Egypt.

The opening session began with a speech from His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Abu Zeid - Chairman of the Arab Water Council and His Excellency Ambassador Jamal Jaballah - Head of the Department of Housing, Water Resources, and Disaster Reduction - Economic Sector - General Secretariat - League of Arab States on rationalizing consumption, providing clean water for various uses, good management of water resources and achieving optimal utilization available and protected groundwater.

Dr. Walid Abdel Rahman - Vice President of the Arab Water Council - Professor of Water Resources - King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals - Dhahran - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, gave a presentation in which he addressed the possibility of maximizing the utilization of groundwater resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Hussein Al-Atfy, Secretary-General of the Arab Water Council, indicated that the celebration will shed light on the role of the Arab Water Council and its cooperation with partners in international and applied Arab research projects. His Excellency also gave a presentation towards the integrated management of groundwater resources and the reduction of pollution in order to achieve sustainable development.

At the end of the session, the representative of Home Pure Nova water treatment company concluded with a presentation on clean and safe water for all - a sustainable treatment technology... The session was moderated and coordinated by Media Adviser/ Ehab Rizk.
